Foster

Foster had surgery last week. He had a tumor removed from his rear-end, got neutered (yes, he is 14 years old and just got it done), had a mole removed from his ear and his teeth cleaned. He has been so sad. Hopefully in the next few days we'll be able to take the lamp shade off his head. :)

Landscaping our new house

Our landscaping is done. We decided to hire a professional to landscape our front yard and couldn't be happier with they way it turned out. After watching them it motivated Phil to do our backyard around the patio. He built a water fountain then planted around it and put down black mulch. He did a wonderful job. Here are the pictures.

Emily's 5th Birthday Party

Emily had a backyard birthday party this year. Within the first week of moving to Tennessee we bought her a huge blow-up waterslide and decided that we would plan a Beach themed party around that in the backyard. Of course, things never go the way you want them to...our waterslide sprung a leak a few weeks before the party. Luckily it was still under warranty...but they couldn't get us a new one before the party. Phil worked on it and we thought it would get us through...but within the first 5 minutes it sprung another leak. :) Thankfully, our friends Rick and Holly had bought their kids one this summer too and Rick went home and got their waterslide for us to use.
