Dorothy for Halloween

Mimi and Papa bought Emily the movie "The Wizard of Oz" before we moved to Kansas. Of course, it instantly became her favorite movie and she decided she wanted to be Dorothy for Halloween. She also wanted Foster to be Toto, me to be Glenda the Good Witch and her dad to be a Flying Monkey. :)

I took Emily to Legends in Kansas City today to take her picture on "The Yellow Brick Road". I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Pumpkin Festival in Kansas City

Phil and I took Emily to the annual Pumpkin Festival at the Crown Center in Kansas City on Saturday. They had lots of fun games, a petting zoo and a pony ride. Emily had a blast.

Jack and Jill Preschool Field trip to Alldredge Orchards

Emily's preschool had their field trip to Alldredge Orchards in Platte City, Missouri on Friday. There were lots of fun things to do. She got to feed chickens, pick apples, take a hay ride and pick a small pumpkin. It was a fun morning.

Emily at Soccer Camp

Emily started a six week Soccer Camp on Ft. Leavenworth a few weeks ago. She is really enjoying it. She has been talking about soccer all summer, but Phil and I wanted to put her in this camp before she played on a little team just to make sure she understood the game. It looks like she'll be on team next year with as much fun as she is having at the camp.
